Birds in the morning

Video By Sir Isaac II
Can you see all the birds in this video. There are 3 songbirds, 2 orioles, and one scrub jay. An oriole is a small bird that is black on the belly with yellow on top. A scrub jay is a large bird with a grey body and some blue on top. There are two types of songbirds, one is a red bellied bird, and the other one is a sparrow. Do you know what kind of bird the one with the red bellie is?

Sea Glass

Two days ago my sister went beach combing without me. She found lots of sea glass. Sea glass is formed when someone litters the beach with broken glass. Most common colors are green, white, and amber brown. After the glass is littered the surf pounds the glass for many years. Then the glass washes onto the beach, all smooth and shiny.

Scorpion decoration

This is a gem that I found in my room.  It has an an Arizona Bark Scorpion in it. The Scorpion is dead, but that was the way it came.  It makes a great room decoration! I think the scorpion looks really cool. You can even see its mandibles up-close.  Have you seen any scorpions?  You can study the gem, although it is safe.
